Heart of the Earth Presentation

Global Warming: Causes, Consequences, & Tallahassee's Response

WHAT'S GOING ON?

Temple Israel will proudly host this educational event on global warming and climate change. Join "Heart of the Earth", a local grassroots environmental organization, as they share their knowledge and local perspective with us through a fascinating multi-media presentation.

WHO'S IT FOR?

Absolutely everyone, we hope! Encourage your older school aged children to attend with you, and do feel welcomed to bring interested friends, whether Temple members or not.

WHEN AND WHERE IS IT?

Saturday, November 9th, 4-7pm, Temple Israel's Ruby Diamond Social Hall

--The multi-media presentation by "Heart of the Earth" begins at 4pm.
--By 6pm we'll enjoy a *potluck vegetarian dinner.
--By approximately 7pm we'll conclude our event with a brief Havdalah Service.

*Consistent with the evening's message--the wise use of resources--we ask that each adult or family group bring a fruit or vegetable salad or side dish, or a vegetarian entree (incorporating locally grown produce if possible) sufficient to serve your own family/guests, plus an additional -4- people. Temple will provide drinks and a light dessert.

All are welcome!
