The Book of the Everglades |
|
| You're invited to celebrate
Florida's Everglades at a book launch for Milkweed Editions' new "The Book
of the Everglades." This anthology includes the work of 24 mostly Florida
writers; through storytelling, journalism and creative nonfiction, Carl
Hiaasen, Al Burt, Jan Godown, and many others rant, adore and mourn what
we have, and have lost in south Florida. North Floridians should take
note, as the development moves our way... Book editor Susan Cerulean, and writers Julie Hauserman, Sharon Rauch, Jan Godown, and June Wiaz will be on hand to read briefly from and sign copies of the new anthology. Books will be available for purchase; refreshments served. All welcome; no charge. Thursday, August 22, 7 p.m. R.A. Gray Building Auditorium Museum of Florida History 500 S. Bronough St., Tallahassee Questions? Call Susan Cerulean at 216-2016 |
