Wakulla County Bottling Plant - Update
The Wakulla County couple whose proposed water bottling facility has twice been voted down by the Wakulla County Commission have joined forces with environmental consultant Paul Johnson and attorney Allison DeFoor to give their plan an environmentally pretty face and sell it to the public. These new company partners attempted to assemble scientific and legal experts during two October public workshops to lend credence to their plan.

What's Happening to Spring Creek?
Florida's largest spring has stopped flowing, and no one knows why. Spring Creek, about 35 miles south of Tallahassee along Wakulla County's Gulf Coast, has stopped its "boiling" flow in recent months, according to area residents.

Wakulla Springs - Can It Be Saved?
Wakulla Springs hosts one of the world's largest and deepest freshwater springs.  The springs form the headwaters of the Wakulla River.  The river runs through beautiful old-growth cypress swamp with abundant wildlife. See the slide show below, "Is Wakulla Springs Being Polluted?"
